GOOGLE a gift to Mankind as we know it!!!

ARE THEY CRAZY??

What am i on about? --- check this out- Google is the only online software company that encourages free useage to end users like u and me. so what you might ask - how about this their products are effecient and high quality using innovative technology and there is no indiscriminate price tag that comes along with it or hidden (till date).

The result -- common man like you and me get to use and benefit from their efforts.. funnily enough i look at this as a CSR initiative on their part - Sort of a Robin Hood of the new

e-millenium. Before everybody begins to attack me - YES i am aware they make billions of dollars in advertising revenues but who cares... am i advertising on google?? no -- but yet i can type any search string and the truth is "GOOGLE will find me the best hits" -- its common parlance now that if u dont know where to find info the person next to you will say " just Google It" and if u say u have and found nothing - atleast 9 out of 10 ppl will be dumbfounded and then come up with you not knowing how to search as the reason.

Google Inc is today fast becomming more than a cult for computer geeks there is a certain of faith they have established in people around the globe. Just the other day infact whle sipping on a cup of coffee with some friends, i came accross someone sayin " if its not on Google - It doesnt Exist!!!"--- Yes this infact is the reason i was pushed to write this -

So what is it then about this 'funny word' created by Larry Page and Sergey Brin that makes people talk about it like they are a part of it or for some reason need to be loyal to it?? - the answer is ownership toward a quality service...

Software like Google Earth, To the ordinary man a tool of lesser significance but a wonder of technology - what this does is bring close to home the actual advancement of technology that has taken place - but you and me will only read or hear about .. Google lets us experience such heights...

Picasa - I find it one of the most ingenious software to manage pictures / image formats of any type, yet it is so simple - its searches and organizes for you all your images in a timeline and folderwise.. with features like instant collage making, slide shows and edit capabilities - this is but a godsend for someone who just wants to get their stuff organised and yet have the power to edit.

So why am i going on and on about this?? - well Google i believe is the way E-commerce and internet / techno companies should be headed, with more opensource, freeware quality products without hidden timed detonations of programs or trial periods for features... its a fully loaded free software - so what if their bots scan our email for keywords to advertise with.. believe it or not i found the best buy on the net for ERNIE BALL guitar strings jes cos i had emailed someone about it...

For all the rest who believe in pay and use and encryption keys and software wars. i guess u can say i've been 'GOOGLED".....
